Come learn the basics of Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) 3D printing and how to use the machines we have at Twin Cities Maker.
If you are new to 3D printing this class will cover everything you need to know to get printing and use the printers at the space.
If you are a veteran to 3D printing this will be a refresher and give you all the information you need about the ins and outs of the specific machines we have at Twin Cities Maker.
For Twin Cities Maker members, taking this class means you will be "Checked Out" / Signed Off for use on the FFF 3D Printers in the 3D Lab; you must attend this class before using the 3D Printers. Should this class time not work for you, please email post in #dept-3d-lab on the TCM slack to schedule another class time.
The class will take place in the Twin Cities Maker 3D Lab, not the classroom. The 3D Lab is off the front lobby to the left as you enter. If you are not a member ring the doorbell to be let in.
This class DOES NOT give you the training for the resin printers in the lab. That is a separate class that is scheduled sparately on Eventbrite. It is not regularly scheduled because the demand for it is less so please post in #dept-3d-lab on the member slack to get one on the calendar or see if you can get one off training.
