Metal Shop Orientation is required before working in the metal shop and is only open to current/new members.
Welcome to the Metal Shop! This orientation covers everything but the blacksmithing area in the metal shop. We'll go over what the check-out procedures are, consumable costs, what workflow is, and other notes on how to be an Excellent Member in the metal shop space.
This orientation is:
*A place to get familiar with how the metal shop space works
*A place to meet other TC Maker members
*A place to ask questions about the metal shop
This orientation is not:
*A place to ask to get checked-off on every tool (you'll learn how to do that on your own!)
*A place to "prove" your knowledge-everyone has a knowledge base to work with and it doesn't have to be related to metal shop tools to work in there!
*A place to ask for the leader to show you a couple of welding tricks and tips
