*New* Metal Shop Orientation

This Orientation is required for all members who use the metal shop, returning and new, as a re-training. Attendance is recorded. 

This is basic metal shop orientation required for all new users of the shop. 

We review all the available metal shop equipment, and explain training requirements for each one.  We also cover safety rules, storage, recycling, and where to get information.  When you are done, you will be allowed to use the basic tools in the metal shop, such as our angle grinders, drill press, benders and hand tools.  And you will be able to begin training on our more advanced tools (welders, band saw, plasma cutter, metal shear, press brake, etc.
