This is a Testing Class to help the instructor finalize details of a future class. Please Contact Riley Harrison via slack to receive a Registration code so that you may sign up for this class.
This class will teach you the fundamentals of making a shield, specifically a Viking Round Shield, constructed of cedar boards, with a metal shield boss, faux leather edging, and straps to make it easier to carry. Shields will be a max of 36" in diameter. Tools used: Table saw Thickness planer Orbital sander Handheld drill Miter saw Band saw Belt sander This introductory class is intended to refine the process and class details, and will take place at times dependent on the students and instructors' availability.
