Table Saw Tuesday (FREE CLASS)

Come hang out with one of our  woodshop managers on the First Tuesday of Each Month for this Free Class focusing on the tool at the center of most woodshops - the table saw.

What You'll Learn

We'll be going over basics of how to safely operate each table saw along with covering topics like:

•  When to use the rip fence vs. a miter guide vs. a jig/sled
• Various Push sticks and when to use each style
• How to use the digital levels to square up a blade or set it at a particle angle
• Time Permitting, we'll get into some of the specially jigs and more advanced techniques.
  

What to Bring:

If you've got a piece of wood you'd like to cut, bring it along; otherwise, we'll have scrap on hand so that everyone can have a try. 

What to Wear:

Avoid wearing loose fitting clothing or long sleeves that you cannot roll up.  Make sure to wear comfortable closed toe shoes as you'll be standing throughout this class.
