Want to say goodbye to dull chisels? This class will give you the no-BS, no gimmicks approach to getting a razor-sharp edge We'll show you how to take the mystery out of sharpening, so you can spend less time struggling with your tools and more time enjoying your woodworking.
1. All Tuition from this class will go back to woodshop for sharpening supplies. We suggest a minimum of a $10 donation to attend.
2. Class will be held in the classroom - please arrive 5-10 min early so we can start on time.
2. Optional Items to Bring/Buy (we'll have all these items in the shop...but if you're thinking of buying your own, these are the items we'll be using):
a. Varitas MK Honing Guide (click here)
b. Sharpening Stones
c. A "sorta" sharp Chisel. If the chisel has gouges or is extremely dull, you will not have enough time in this class to get it really really sharp. We will have chisels available which can be sharpened in the time allotted.
