Women and Femmes in the Woodshop is a welcoming, supportive shop night created for women and femme-identified woodworkers of all skill levels. Whether you’re brand new to woodworking or a seasoned craftsperson, this is a space to learn, build confidence, share knowledge, and make things together in an environment centered on mutual respect and encouragement. Molly will be coordinating and bringing her 20+ years of woodworking experience. This is a great night to become more comfortable on the tools in a low pressure and supportive environment.
This affinity group is open to all women and folks who identify as femmes. By setting aside this time and space, we aim to make the woodshop more accessible and comfortable, helping more people feel at home working with tools and materials. We also thank our members who are not women or femmes for respecting this dedicated night and for supporting our shared goal of a more inclusive, equitable woodworking community.
