A joint event hosted by the blacksmith and metal shops, we are welcoming metalworkers, welders, and smiths of all experience levels to join us for a community night. Bring your problem projects to solve, something to show off, or even just some drinks and chips!
Please note that this isn't a class, and there will be no specific project, but what we will have is a room with experienced people from both shops that can provide guidance on anything that you might be struggling with. If you're inexperienced and just want to get more familiar with the shops and tools we can give beginner project ideas and your metal will be covered by the signup fee.
Additional notes for attendees:
- Bring safety gear. Eyes and ears are mandatory. TCM has some loaner pairs, but the only way to guarantee PPE is to bring your own.
- There are limited anvils and floor space. Please be accommodating with the size of projects that you bring.
- Food and drink are welcome.
