Help us get the TCM garden up and running! We need your help to fill our brand new garden beds to get them ready to plant in.
We will be loosely following the hugelkultur method of filling the beds with layers of organic material and adding soil to the top to plant directly into. This is a style of gardening where you fill the beds with different kinds of organic matter that decompose over time, resulting in high-quality, nutrient-dense soil that retains water.
There will be an experienced volunteer present to walk us through the hugelkultur method, and we will visit two gardens in the neighborhood that are using this method to see how it breaks down over time!
