Work with CAD design your 2 and 2.5 dimensional objects. We’ll work with patterns/textures, text, and accurate hole placement. In class we’ll work on designing either a bracelet (laser) or name plate (CNC). We’ll walk through exporting dxf files for laser and using kiri:moto to export gcode for the CNC machine. We’ll use OnShape which is free and web-based, allowing it to be used on almost any device. Please sign up for an account before class.
