Picture Frames! Part 1

Build your very own custom picture frame in 3 hours! 

About This Class

Have a piece of art that you have been needing to frame? This is the class for you. In this woodworking class, we can accommodate art pieces as large as 70" in perimeter!

Experience Level

This class is open to makers of all levels.

Skills You Will Learn

(1) Learn how to create rabbets for your frame using the router table.

(2) Cut the necessary angles into your wood stock for the corner of your frames using the miter saw.

(3) Practice simple sanding and finishing techniques.

What to Bring

  • Clothing suitable for the wood shop. 
  • Wear close-toed shoes and avoid loose, dangling clothing and accessories. 
  • Eye and hearing protection is required. 
  • Dust masks and eye/ear protection are available to borrow but bringing your own is recommended.

About the Instructor

Lars is a woodworking instructor who also teaches the Woodworking 101 series. She has been a woodworker since 2019. Some of the projects that she is most proud of include building an electric guitar and a book embosser.
