Are you a maker, tradesperson, or artisan? Do you have skills other people could learn from? Curious about teaching at Twin Cities Maker (TCM) but don't know where to begin? You have come to the right place!
What You Will Learn
This orientation is your first step to teaching at TCM and it is required for all new teachers. During this process, you will learn all you need to know about:
- How to get your class posted to the TCM website
- Resources to support your teaching journey
- What details to include in your class proposal
- The timeline from completing your class proposal to your first session
- Reimbursement for class materials
- Paperwork to complete before and after your class
- Payment details, timing, and class pricing

About the Instructor
Lars is the Education Manager at Twin Cities Maker. She has been an educator for over a decade, with experience teaching math in the classroom, woodworking classes at TCM, and lasercutter classes in makerspaces around Boston, MA. Some of the projects that she is most proud of include building an electric guitar and a book embosser. In her free time, she enjoys reading, biking, and playing the guitar.
