Come help tidy the ceramics studio space and enjoy a little laid-back community time together. Let's get to know each other while we get things cleaned up!
Our primary activities for this work party will be:
- cubby management (identifying expired parking permits and contacting those makers reminding them to keep their permits current and valid)
- cleaning the tops of shelves, lockers, and inside cubbies with the wet microfiber cloths
- cleaning work surfaces (handbuilding stations, throwing wheel stations and benches, wedging tables, glazing station surfaces) with wet sponges
- organizing tools and equipment to ensure they're in the correct location, cleaning any that require it
- tidying and cleaning the sink area
- washing down the floor with water and squeegeeing excess to floor drain
Many hands make light work, so I'm looking forward to a quick and efficient cleaning session and plenty of time to build community with one another. Queue up a favorite playlist if you'd like to share with us.
